Many thanks to Peter Edwards for allowing us to use his portrait of Peter Redgrove and Penelope Shuttle.

Thanks to to Falmouth Town Council and The Tanner Trust for their support.

Many of the poets from our lock down collection Uneasy Heads will be reading throughout the day.

Uneasy Heads

Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown (Shakespeare, Henry IV, part ii)

[Corona is Latin, Italian and Spanish for crown…  also English for any part of the body resembling a crown!]

This online pamphlet has been assembled from contributions made by members of Falmouth Poetry Group.

We hold regular workshops throughout the year and come together at the end of every one of them to share our work in an informal and joyful gathering of Cornish Poets in the Falmouth Hotel… until, that is, the notorious year of 2020!

Uneasy Heads is our way of coming together again to express our feelings in words about this extraordinary time.
